October Artist 2019

Past Feature Artist

Ink of Sekhmet

Ink of Sekhmet was a moniker chosen to represent strength. Sekhmet is commonly known as the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of war, while “Ink” is inspired by the old adage “The pen is mightier than the sword.” A lot of the works from this artist are inspired by real-life experiences. Sekhmet has an especially strong draw towards mythical creatures, skulls, spiders, and other common dark motifs with splashes of color in between. She is also heavily inspired by anime. When she is not drawing, Sekhmet often writes poetry or is trying to practice face/body painting.
